Description: This early elegant ceremonial rattle, represents the shell of mussel, a common find in the tidal areas of the Pacific Northwest. A subtle pattern of a blue star motif is shown in negative pattern on both sides. The rattle is an early example and is showing many generations of Ethnographic use. Comes with a custom metal display stand.
