Description: A very finely woven old Cowlitz tribe burden basket. The size makes me believe it may have been made for a young girl to gather berries with. The design is a radiating step pattern that encircles the entire periphery. Herringbone weave on top edge. Condition is excellent for age with normal patina from great age and Ethnographic use.
