Materials: Yew wood, twine, black, red and green pigments

Dimensions: 10” L x 4 ½ W x 2 ½ Thick

Description: A globular shaman’s rattle depicting two eyes, a nose and dotted motif. Lead shot or pebbles are contained inside to make a rattling sound. The twine wrap would have been replaced in the early 20th Century. The rattle has a great old patina from many years of use and careful handling.
