Description: A very finely woven basketry covered glass bottle. The baskets surface is completely covered in striking complex imagery featuring two central motifs of a thunderbird grabbing a whale, sections of checker work weave and a twisted rope design in orange and purple. This large basket has an impressive stitch count of 20plus stitches per inch. Note the very consistent stiches. This basket will make a fine addition to anyone’s basket collection and displays very well. A museum quality example.
