Materials: probably maple wood, saturated with seal or oolichan oil

Dimensions: 17 ¼” L x 5 ¾ W x  6 ½” H

Description: Very large potlach feast ladle featuring a carved raven design in an archaic form line patterns indicating possibly a pre-contact date of manufacture  The bowl is sticky with oil residue, showing many generations of ethnographic ceremonial use. A museum quality example.
