Description: A finely carved tall totem pole featuring a Raven, killer whale, Tsoonaqua with child, beaver with human face below cross hatched tail. Signed and inscribed to the back. A striking large well carved totem pole that will make an excellent addition to anyone’s collection.
David Quist was born in Vancouver, BC in 1940. He is a highly skilled metalsmith and has worked for many years crafting jewelry in the Northwest Coast tradition. He produces his intricately made pieces in his personal studio. His artwork can be found in many prominent collections, such as the Smithsonian, the Museum of Civilization and the Burke Museum. Quist also has work belonging to private collections around the world
