A fine rare Haida Haisla totem pole by the famed maker Alfred Wesley. One of my favorite old carvers of all time. His fierce animal depictions and complex imagery are some of the best of any Northwest Coast artist working in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Description: Carved from a hard wood the totem depicts a Raven perched on the top , followed by two men grasping the fins of a dogfish. The dogfish has a long extended tongue. Highlighted in blue, red and black pigments.
