Description: Carved from a deep dark blue black colored stone with natural color striations. From the famed Gjoa Haven area of Canada’s remote arctic north famed for their depictions of mystical creatures. This one features Sedna lying on side with bone inlayed eyes.
Provenance: Private collection amassed over 40 years by a retired educator originally from Ontario Canada. ( we recently acquired a number of fine early pieces from this same collection and will be featuring a number of these on the website).
