Description
A fine early Yupik Inuit Eskimo oil or food bowl. This type of bowl would have been a man’s bowl, since it is carved from a single piece of drift wood and would have held seal oil for dipping fish into. The bowl has a deep dark rich patina from decades of native use. A museum quality bowl worthy of the finest collection. The bowl comes with a museum quality display stand.
